We needed mold remediation on the walls of the unfinished portion of our basement before having some foundation work done. Unfortunately, we didn't realize this until about a week before the work was supposed to start. I called around and The Steam Police was the only company with the availability I needed. They patiently explained the process and provided a reference for the required (by law) certified mold inspector who also happened to be available on short notice. Two days after my call, Gage and his team arrived when expected and explained exactly what they were going to do. They were very professional, courteous and respectful of our property, even showing up at the door with a box of shoe covers and using them without being asked. They isolated the area that they were working in and worked their magic over several hours. When done, they left a heavy duty HEPA fan in place to filter the air as well as a device designed to neutralize the odors associated with their cleaning products. Reappearing the next day, also at the agreed upon time, Gage evaluated the results, made sure we were happy and then left everything just as they found it, minus the mold. I highly recommend The Steam Police and look forward to having them clean our carpeting once the basement work is complete.
